Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Laws, LLB (Hons) degree from University of Northumbria, Newcastle and subsequently completed his Bar Vocational Course (BVC) at the Inns of Court, School of Law in London. He is a member of Gray’s Inn, and has been called to the English Bar. Having been called to the English Bar, Ryan then returned to commence his legal journey in Malaysia, whereby he underwent his pupillage with a reputable firm and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitors of the Malaysian Bar in 2008. Ryan then joined Messrs Sulaiman & Taye as a junior partner since 2011. While dealing mainly with commercial dispute resolutions, arbitration and debt recovery, Ryan also does general litigation, including divorces (both joint and contested), family and probate matters. He also dabbles in corporate advisory, drafting and vetting of contracts and agreements, and the occasional conveyancing matter. Ryan joins LYNC as partner in June 2024, bringing his wealth of experience garnered throughout his years of legal practice.
